Women face gendered expectations that make it more difficult to request a promotion, pay rise or professional development. But for some women, simply finding the right words is the biggest hurdle. They have career goals and they know how to achieve them but aren’t sure how to frame ‘the ask’.
That’s why we’ve put together a simple template you can send to your team leader. It covers the basics of how to persuade your workplace to spend time and money investing in you.

For the first time, private sector companies have had to reveal their gender pay gaps – with all sectors showing the need for improvement.
