Founders are the new rockstars. Everyone wants to be one. So last week, Future Women teamed up with Vivid to hold a compelling panel discussion between female entrepreneurs who are breaking the mould. Host Sylvia Jeffreys spoke with Pip Edwards, co-founder of P.E. Nation, Catriona Wallace, founder of Flamingo AI, and Cyan Ta’eed, co-founder of Envato (also founder of Hey Tiger and Milkshake).

As Australian women represent only 34 percent of entrepreneurs in the country, they discussed how women can get their idea off the ground and see it through to success. From ridding your expectations of perfectionism to becoming comfortable with failing and getting up again, these three founders agreed on one thing. When you have such a passion for your vision and business, the days may be difficult but it’s never been easier to get out of bed. Here, they each divulge a piece of advice for budding female entrepreneurs.
