Attention on women in sport is officially mainstream. Over the past five years, we’ve seen more packed out stadiums, media coverage, and interest of female athletes than ever before. All signs look up for women in sport. But where are we at when it comes to tangible results in gender equality?

In partnership with the ICC T20 World Cup 2020, Future Women and Twitter invites you to join us for a morning of celebration of Australian female athletes for #IWD2019.

Four elite athletes who are setting the standard in their various fields including cricket will share their insights and personal stories of being a woman in sport, where we’re at and where to next. This special #IWD2019 event, will be hosted by sports reporter Sam Squiers.

Join us on Thursday, 7 March 2019 from 7.30am – 9am at Twitter HQ, Sydney, for a lively discussion and new connections. Breakfast will be served.
