Are you hosting events during COVID-19?

Yes! Depending on current restrictions, we always have a busy calendar of both virtual and in-person events. Find the schedule of upcoming events here.

I am living overseas or outside of Sydney and Melbourne, which membership should I choose?

The Gold membership is best for you as it gives you full access to Future Women and the Future Proof webinar series which is delivered virtually and recorded if you miss it. Gold offers the best value if you want to connect, learn and lead.

What is the FW newsletter and why should I pay for it?

We know you’re busy, so we deliver your membership highlights straight to your inbox, no fuss. It takes a team of talented people to produce our newsletters. Trust us, your inbox won’t know what hit it.

What is the Future Women Jobs Academy and how can I apply?

Jobs Academy is a free, year-long membership designed to support women who are looking for work, more work, or new work. Women of any age, from any location and any background are invited to apply. Jobs Academy is tailored for women who are looking to make a career change in the next year, be it a new job, more hours or getting back to work after taking time off due to caring commitments. Find more details about Jobs Academy and how to apply here.

Can I find a mentor through my Future Women membership?

We know a successful mentoring relationship depends on a personal connection between the mentor and mentee. Our closed Facebook group advertises mentor/mentee opportunities and the Members Directory is your Rolodex to all members. We encourage you to reach out to anyone you think might be suitable. Every month we also host group Speed Mentoring sessions for Gold members which are advertised inside the member-only Facebook community. These are practical sessions designed to empower you to take your next steps.

Is there a student discount?

Our Red membership is deliberately set at $49 per year and can be paid on a monthly basis to cater for students and anyone on a tight budget. As a team of journalists, we passionately believe in the importance of producing quality content and your membership fees are supporting ambitious female journalism.

Can men become members and attend FW events?

Future Women is a club for people of all genders and we encourage everyone to join and attend events. FW is for men who want to learn, who know when to be silent and simply listen, and who realise that gender equality doesn’t just benefit women but benefits everyone. We welcome the men who want to be part of building a fairer and better world.
