VICTORIAN RURAL WOMEN'S BUSINESS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Future Women, in partnership with the Victorian Government are proud to launch the Victorian Rural Women’s Business Leadership Program.
Sixteen women will be granted access to a series of premium leadership development opportunities as part of the acclaimed 12-month Future Women Platinum+ program.
This program will provide small business owners and entrepreneurs with the leadership skills, strategies and support to start or grow their own business or entrepreneurial activity. The program will address the structural barriers and challenges experienced by female founders such as access to capital, networks and resources, and draw upon a diverse range of industry experts and role models to advance women’s leadership in the sector and strengthen the pipeline of women founders across rural and regional Victoria. It will also provide a unique networking and mentoring opportunities for successful applicants.
Culturally diverse women, Aboriginal women, women with a disability and women who identify as LGBTQI+ across rural and regional Victoria that own or aspire to own their own small business or entrepreneurial activity are encouraged to apply.
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Future Women and the Victorian Government are looking for 16 women business owners from rural, regional and remote Victoria.
Priority will be given to women from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds such as Aboriginal women, women from cultural or linguistically diverse backgrounds and women with a disability.
Applications have closed. All applicants will be contacted with an outcome in July 2022.
PLATINUM+ MEMBERSHIP
Successful applicants of the Victorian Rural Women's Business Leadership Program will gain access to Future Women's Platinum+ program. Platinum+ has approximately 400 active members across Australia. Future Women is the leading community for professional women.
Started in 2019 by former media executive Helen McCabe it has rapidly grown to offer high-calibre professional development and training alongside premium content with podcasts, newsletters, book clubs and live interviews with guests from around the world.
The Platinum+ program provides a unique opportunity to access this incredibly unique and high-calibre community while also receiving premium training and mentoring.
The successful applicants will be joined by a range of women from other organisations from across Australia to help deepen their connections in relevant fields and beyond. The signature activities include the Platinum+ Masterclass, a 2-day Leadership Summit, small group mentoring and a lifetime Red membership.
The Victorian Rural Women's Business Leadership Program is targeted at small business owners in rural, regional and remote Victoria who want to connect to a bigger, like-minded community to help fast-track their skills and network.
